Shamrock’s history

Shamrock is a village in the Rural Municipality of Shamrock No. 134, in southern Saskatchewan's Census Division No. 7.

The community first incorporated as a village on April 30, 1924. It was later disorganized, on December 31, 1953, but Shamrock did not stay that way for long: it re-incorporated as a village on January 1, 1960, and remains a village today.
